Advanced First Aid For First Responder

As a Nurse and qualified First Aid Responder and  CFR Instructor I always like to update my knowledge and skills. I do this by attending conferences and study days every year. I also like to read and research the topics that I teach. In this regard I have come across a real gem of a book that I would recommend all First Aiders and all First Aid Instructors. It is called Advanced First Aid For First Responder On Scene. It is a very practical no nonsense type of book, written in easy to understand language. It is written by EMT Frank O Connor. Frank's approach to writing a First Aid book is very different to any other First Aid book that I have read. He picks scenarios that the reader can relate to. He explains everything in simple language. He also includes Clinical Practice Guideline algorithms as well as photos and illustrations.   This book an be read from cover to cover or as a reference book.
