Introduction to Risk Assessment

This IIRSM approved Introduction to Risk Assessment course will give participants an in dept understanding of what risk assessment means and how to carry out one. Risk Assessment is a vital component of health and safety standards in the workplace and will help prevent accidents from occurring, ensuring the safety of all staff members and anyone affected by workplace activities. This course will provide advice on how to identify hazards in the workplace and analyse the rose associated with these hazards. During the course we will discuss the importance of risk assessment and the legislation that applies. It will also explain the responsibilities that both employers and employees have in relation to risk assessment.
